About Estate Art

The EIissa Cristall Gallery Store specializes in Collector and Estate Art by leading contemporary artists.  We are pleased to offer paintings and works on paper from private collections and estates. All artworks are original and offer excellent value at accessible prices for the first time buyer or experienced collector.  We are happy to discuss payment plans for most purchases.

How are the dimensions listed?

We list our dimensions with the height first, then the width. All dimensions include framing, where applicable.

How is the artwork framed?

All artwork arrives in it’s original frame and is ready-to-hang.  Often, paintings on canvas or on panel are unframed. You can find out if your art is framed on the artwork detail page. 

If you would like your artwork framed, please email us a note and we will be happy to work with you and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Are the colours exactly as they appear on my screen?

We work hard to ensure that all images are displayed accurately; however, your screen resolution, model, and brightness may reflect subtle variations from the actual artwork.

Can I see the artwork in person?

Yes, if you live in Vancouver or are visiting, you can email us at store@cristallgallery.com to let us know when you would like to view.

When is shipping or delivery charged?

Shipping or delivery is billed at the time of checkout for artworks.

If you live in the Vancouver area or are visiting, you are welcome to pick up your artwork at Elissa Cristall Gallery, 2239 Granville Street (at 7th ave) during Gallery hours which you can find on our CONTACT page. 

Orders, Shipping & Returns

How do I purchase an artwork?

To purchase an artwork online, add the artwork to your cart and proceed to checkout. If you have shipping preferences or any special notes (such as if your purchase is a gift, or if the work is to be shipped outside Canada or the United States) please email us at store@cristallgallery.com

How can I pay?

During checkout you can choose to pay by PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Visa debit or MasterCard debit. You will receive an order confirmation email as soon as your payment has been received.

Do you offer installation services?

Yes, we offer installation services in Metro Vancouver.  To request installation services, include a note in the “Order Note” at the bottom of the checkout page. We will get in touch with you after your order is placed to coordinate. Collectors are responsible for all installation costs.

How is shipping calculated?

Shipping rates depend on packed artwork dimensions, distance, and artwork value.  Shipping rates are calculated upon checkout. All artwork over $1,500 (excluding tax) ships for free in Canada!

How long does shipping and/or framing take?

Artwork arrives approximately 2-3 weeks after your order is confirmed. If you would like your artwork to arrive sooner, please include a note in the special instructions upon checkout (see “Order Note”) and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes! Contact us directly at store@cristallgallery.com and we will send along the shipping quote for your approval before the work is ordered. Please note all applicable duties and/or taxes are the responsibility of the collector. You can also contact us directly at store@cristallgallery.com or 604.730.9611 to make your purchase.

Do you accept returns?

Sales are final 5 days after delivery of work. Returns can be initiated within 5 days of receipt of delivery by contacting us by email store@cristallgallery.com or calling us at 604.730.9611.

The purchaser is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Return instructions will be provided by the Gallery. Artwork must be returned in its original packaging. Refunds are processed once the work is inspected and confirmed to be in comparable condition as noted on the condition report that was prepared prior to shipping.

Any duties, taxes, or other costs associated with a return shipment will be deducted from the refund amount.

What if my piece arrives damaged?

While occasional damage by Canada Post, FedEx, USPS, and art handlers in transit is out of our control, we are happy to work with you to resolve these issues if damage does occur.
